APRÁS SCHOOL GAP YEAR: TRIPS, TRAVEL, FRENCH AND FUN
Ski le Gap is the only snow school to offer such a wide variety of training in teaching, freestyle, half-pipes and race coaching.
Qualifications
Canada is one of the World's major skiing countries and all qualifications gained at Ski le Gap are fully endorsed by the Canadian Ski Instructors Alliance (CSIA). This means the qualifications are recognised around the world.
The holder of any CSIA qualification is qualified to teach anywhere in the world, and many Ski le Gap alumni carve out successful teaching careers, or just use the opportunity to travel and teach for a season or two. Ski le Gap will even help you find employment after completing their course.
Intensive Training (Nov - Dec)
In our one month course you will train to get the level 1 CSIA which will allow you to teach beginners up to the intermediate level.
Ultimate Experience
With three months to train and improve Ski le Gap's Ultimate course gives skiers a huge range of options. By having small class sizes that change weekly we can accept a full range of abilities and still stimulate the advanced skiers without alienating the beginners.
Once you have gained the level 1 CSIA, your options really open up. You can go on to your level II CSIA or you might be interested in race coaching, perhaps riding the rails in the park or flying in the half pipe interests you more. At Ski le Gap you are given the choice to not only push your limits in all the above fields of skiing but also to gain well respected teaching certifications into them.
